Bought this subscription for my husband as he loves this magazine. First heard of it when mother in law had a copy she gave to my husband. We then bought her a subscription and she passed them on to us. Unfortunately she died a few years ago and so my husband didn't have the magazine for awhile until I saw an advert for Best of British and decided to get a subscription as a surprise for him. He was thrilled to bits and can't wait for the magazine to drop through the letterbox.

After years of sending a CD or DVD we were looking for something different and bought a magazine subscription as a Xmas gift for my 86 year old Father in Law who lives in New Zealand. He really enjoys The Best of British being delivered to his door each month and gets great pleasure reminiscing about life in Britain as a boy and until he emigrated 28 years ago. \nA very successful gift which lasts all year!!!!\n

It is printed in the magazine that it can be purchased on the 27th of each month. So why is it I never get mine delivered till the 1st or 2nd of the next month and I have paid for a year in front. I find the magazine seem to print stuff that can be found on the computer or in a book. I'm sorry but the new editor seem to have let it down.

Sheer nostalgia! Curl up with a cuppa and indulge in all those things you remember from your childhood and youth! I LOVE this magazine. Well presented and best of all, not too dear for those on a pension!
