Which Caravan magazine subscription holders picking up the latest edition of the publication will notice a number of tests have been carried out featuring a range of mobile homes.
The Bailey Pegasus 546 and Elddis Odyssey 540 were both subjected to live-in tests, while a number of caravans were given their first once-over.
The Pegasus 546 sleeps six and features an extra-wide window sill, spacious U-shaped lounge and high-quality insulation.
As for the Elddis Odyssey 540, the magazine said it passed with flying colours, showing why it is one of the firm's best sellers.
Other mobile homes to be examined included the Elddis Avante 646, which readers will discover has an almost identical layout to the new Crusader Tempest, but are more than £4,000 less costly.
Meanwhile, the publication described the Sterling Eccles Amethyst as having a large kitchen, open plan layout and a fixed bed, as well as an offside two-seater dining area.
In other news, the Darlington and Stockton Times has revealed that local residents are angry that a caravan park looks set to get permission for a further 15 pitches.
