Top Gear magazine are celebrating their 20th anniversary by asking the public to vote for the best car of all time… We think it’s going to be a tough call!
There hve already been plenty of suggestions on the Top Gear website and between the editorial staff so a shortlist of 20 cars has been devised – with voters allowing to agree or disagree on their choices.
The winner will be revealed in a special 20th anniversary bumper edition of BBC Top Gear Magazine, available to subscribers before 11th September 2013. The voting closes on 14th August.
According to BBC Top Gear Magazine editor Charlie Turner: “Two decades since launch, Top Gear is firmly established as the biggest, best car magazine in the world. To celebrate we want to name the greatest car of the past 20 years. The list of 20 we have arrived at are not just the most beautiful and most expensive hypercars, but the machines that have revolutionised the automotive-world, and those which have changed the game forever. However our list is designed to only spark the debate. We want people shouting about the cars they love and telling us the ones they’d add.”
