Rachel Weisz looks like the typical English Rose – porcelain skin, dark hair and big, beautiful eyes, odd considering her father is Hungarian and her mother is Austrian. Born and raised in England though, we’re happy to claim her as one of our own.
As well as the success from her recent film roles, Weisz has recently made the headlines for her marriage to fellow Brit actor and James Bond himself, Mr Daniel Craig. The couple began dating when they were filming thriller “Dream House”, in which they play a married couple.
Those of you with a Psychologies magazine subscription will be able to read her latest interview with the magazine in which she talks about her rebellious years growing up, her guilt over being both well-educated and a successful actor and how becoming a mother has changed her.
“Having a child grounds you whereas before, not having that kind of urgent, fundamental responsibility allows you to indulge in lots of selfish thinking and the luxury of self-doubt. Being a mother teaches you to focus on basic, but very important things relating to the happiness and wellbeing of your child. It helps eliminate all the other nonsense,” she says.
