He may be best-known as a Canadian rock star, but Bryan Adams definitely has more than one string to his bow. Yes, those of you with a Practical Photography magazine subscription may be interested to know that Adams is also a successful photographer.
His new book Exposed contains pictures that he’s taken over the past 30 years, after he purchased his “Fifties Rolleiflex camera with a beautiful Zeiss 2.8 lens” in Japan in the ‘80s. He has since gone on to experiment with a range of cameras, including a Leica M6, a Mamiya RZ and even a large-format, wooden Deardorff 10x8.
Adams’ snaps include portraits of Amy Winehouse, Sting, Lana Del Ray, Billy Idol and Mick Jagger just to name a few. There are also pictures from his life on the road.
