If you have a BBC History magazine subscription you may notice that the August issue looks a little different to the norm...
And that’s because the magazine has had a redesign! The mag now has a new masthead, cover design, new fonts and also brand new features, including a new section entitled ‘Backgrounder’ will put current affairs into context, while new content will include a regular column from historian and broadcaster Michael Wood and a pick of the month’s most important anniversaries put together by acclaimed author Dominic Sandbrook.
Dave Musgrove, Associate Publisher of BBC History Magazine, said: "This redesign takes BBC History Magazine to the next step. It is an accurate reflection of the upward curve that this market-leading title has been on for the last few years, and it shows how a history magazine can remain true to its subject but also be entirely modern in approach and outlook. Confidence, clarity and currency are the watchwords of the brand, which now has a very strong digital presence as well as continuing to thrive in print.”
