If you’ve ever stayed in a log cabin and walked inside from the cold, you’ll know how warm and cosy it feels – with the smell of fresh wood, a roaring fire and a sofa you can melt into. Next you need to decorate the room. Use quirky designs that suit you and your log cabin retreat. Next, buy festive crockery to set out your table – red, green and white is a great colour scheme that adds a touch of Christmas to anything. Set out candles around the place so that your house has a cosy glow and it will add warmth (saving you money on the heating, too!). Warm drinks and snacks are a must and as its Christmas why not treat yourself to a mulled wine?
Last but not least, as in a log cabin the outside world is usually filled with snow, you’ll need to ensure you have plenty of thick, woolly blankets piled on your sofa and bed to ensure that you stay comfortable. And there you have it!
