Sofia Vergara Bares All For Women’s Health

Modern Family star gets candid about ageing, body-image and the perils of working out when you’re a voluptuous woman.

She is best-known as playing the charming and beautiful Latin bombshell on hit comedy Modern Family, and actress Sofia Vergara proved she’s got the confidence in real-life as well, by posing completely naked on the new cover of Women’s Health.  The 45-year-old is a picture of happiness and health as she appears on the magazine’s ‘naked issue’, but despite her admirable physique, Sofia admits to not being a fan of exercise, saying it actually puts her in a ‘bad mood’.

"I wish I could be a little more athletic, but when you’re born with these gigantic boobs... I’ve had them since I was 13, and then they got bigger when I was pregnant and had the baby,” she told the magazine. “It’s not about having muscle or cut abs. I don’t have abs because I’m not 'I need to be like a fit model with a perfect body.' That would take too much effort!"

The Colombian-American star, who is married to True Blood actor and fitness fanatic Joe Manganiello, is also adamant that pursuing youthfulness is a waste of time, and that instead, women ought to embrace their body no matter their age.

"I’m 45. Even if you want to, at this time in your life, you can’t be perfect. It’s not that you hate it, or that you’re upset about it, but it is our reality,” she told Women’s Health. “We’re changing. I see it happening to me. I want to look my age, but I want to look great. I think if you are obsessed with this 'I want to look younger' thing, you’re going to go crazy."
