Large helpings of fast food, only a few hours sleep and even less exercise are reportedly among president Trump’s day-to-day habits according to Axios’ ‘Trump 101 Series’. Based on information from aides who spent time with the POTUS on his campaign trail, Trump regularly had Domino's, KFC, and McDonald's - Big Macs were served on silver trays – delivered to his private jet, and while he doesn’t drink coffee, he does enjoy the odd diet coke.
Since moving into The White House however, the 70-year-old mogul has scaled back on some of his more calorific choices. 'The steak-and-potatoes narrative is true,' a source told Axios. 'But he also really likes fish and seafood — so, like crab and shrimp. Things like that. He does eat salad. He'll eat like Cobb salad … He eats vegetables,' said the source.
It is well documented that the President eschews alcohol and doesn’t smoke, and has said in the past that he only needs 3-4 hours of sleep a night. A former aide appeared to clarify this, saying: "I've gotten calls from him as late as 1:30 [a.m.] and as early as 4:30."
Nor does he engage in regular exercise aside from the occasional cart-supported round of golf, but believes in his ‘genetic gifts’.
