It has been rumoured that Anna Wintour is desperate to get Girls star Lena Dunham on the cover of Vogue!
We’ve heard a few whisperings through the grapevine that the infamous editor of the fashion bible is keen for the ‘overweight’ actress, who doesn’t conform to Vogue’s usual size of models, to appear in the magazine to attract readers of all shapes and sizes.
Wintour will host a dinner in Dunham’s honour in hopes that she will say yes, as she believes that (much like her character in Girls) she is the voice of a generation and help change views that Vogue promotes unhealthy body types.
It is yet to be seen whether or not we will see Lena’s face peering out of an issue of Vogue USA any time soon, but we sure hope so!
