As incoming Editor-in-Chief of Vogue Edward Enninful is busy preparing his super stylish team ahead of his takeover in August, and has announced his first appointment with Venetia Scott. The highly accomplished and talented stylist and photographer will become Fashion Director of British Vogue effective 10th July.
“Visionary, influential and inspiring are overused terms, but in this case appropriate to describe Venetia’s work. Venetia will continue the legacy of creativity and innovation for which British Vogue is known, positioning it for its next century,” commented Enninful.
Having begun her career at British Vogue as assistant to Grace Coddington, Venetia is a perfect fit for the fashion bible. She then cemented her status as a stylist working with magazines including The Face, i-D and AnOther Magazine. In 2005 she made a move into photography where she has become hugely regarded for her distinctive style, and one look at Venetia’s Instagram suggests we are in for a huge treat!
