Hollyoaks fans with a More magazine subscription might be interested in heading to Leeds for the second annual High Heel-a-thon to raise money for charity.
The walk is taking place on Sunday September 26th and Claire Cooper, who plays Jacqui from the notorious McQueen clan in the soap, will be donning her heels and taking part to raise money for Yorkshire Cancer Research.
Claire will be kicking off the 1.5 mile walk at the shoe and shopping haven in Leeds - The Victoria Quarter - and tottering her way around the city centre before finishing at Briggate again.
The actress told More magazine: "I'm thrilled to be taking part in such a fun and exciting event. It makes quite a change from a day on the Hollyoaks set, but one of the perks of the job is being able to spread the word about this fabulous day out.
"Hopefully I can inspire others to sign up and raise money for Yorkshire Cancer Research. I know I can’t wait to get my heels on!"
Yorkshire-born Claire previously had roles in Corrie and Waterloo Road before bagging her Hollyoaks gig, which she's had since 2007.
