Fashionistas with an Elle magazine subscription might be interested to read about the latest celeb trend - grunge roots with highlighted ends.
It appears that those on the A-list are happily sporting the new look, which is apparently one of this season's hot hair trends, according to Elle magazine.
Drew Barrymore has been leading the way with the look. She's managed to achieve a "cool, yet sophisticated" slant on it, the mag suggests.
When she turned up looking stunning at the premiere for new flick Going the Distance, which she stars in alongside Justin Long, she wore a floor-length gown with her hair down around her shoulders, showing off her dark roots coupled with blonde tips.
Drew's not the only celeb trying out the trend either. Rachel Bilson's currently showing her dark roots with some caramel ends and Jessica Biel's got some subtly placed highlights which are groomed perfectly.
Dip-dying has given Pixie Lott and Alexa Chung a slightly rock-chick edge to them, especially as the pair went for a dishevelled texture too.
