Anne Hathaway seems to have been everywhere recently – in the past few months she’s married her partner Adam Shulman, starred in one of the biggest films around the world AND she’s had the undignified crotch shot that all celebs dread... when she was commando!
Despite the latter, Hathaway has an Audrey Hepburn-esque elegance about her (particularly with the elfin crop she’s currently sporting) and that’s why she’s topping Harper’s Bazaar’s ‘A’ List in the February issue of the magazine.
She’s currently starring in Les Miserables as Fantine, but admits that it was a struggle to secure the part as many thought she was too young to play the part, but too old to play Fantine’s daughter Cosette.
“I had one of my fierce mama-tiger actor moments, when I find myself speaking to my manager through gritted teeth, instructing her very precisely about What. To. Say. To. Them.”
