After arduously rifling through Marks and Spencer’s vast and illustrious archive, Alexa Chung has picked her favourites to be reimagined for 2016 and her new collection line is available from today in selected stores nationwide. The 31 piece collection is a breezy and summery mix of highly wearable pieces: from a smart navy blazer and bang on trend wide-leg, tailored trousers, to gorgeous print dresses and strappy sandals.
It was considered a stroke of genius when the department store announced its upcoming collaboration with Chung in February, for who better to create an archive line that the TV presenter and fashion icon who is renowned for her quirky blend of modern and vintage style.
“I have always had an affection for Marks & Spencer" said Chung, "there was something very touching about looking back through the British fashion and social history for which M&S is synonymous”.
Archive by Alexa will be stocked at 68 Marks and Spencer stores across the UK and internationally. Of course, it's also available online but log on early to avoid disappointment. M&S are hosting a special event from 5pm until 7pm on Wednesday evening at their London Marble Arch store where Alexa herself will be making an appearance.
Prices start at just £14 and in typical M&S style the collection is effortlessly wearable, and sure to see you through the whole of summer.
