Robert Pattinson acted unusually blasé when asked about his upcoming wedding to singer/artist FKA Twigs. When questioned by People magazine about their wedding planning, the Twilight star answered with “Planning what now?” Pattison and FKA Twigs are notoriously silent on their private lives, but could Pattinson be pulling away from a long term commitment? He later admitted that he still feels very young at heart, “I still feel like I’m 22… maybe even 14.” This may be bad news for the couple who got engaged back in 2015.
This news could have a deep impact on Twigs, who just released her short film Soundtrack 7, which premiered in the UK on the 27th November. The singer, who appeared on Elle’s August front cover, opened up about her past relationship issues that inspired the film. She revealed that in previous relationships she couldn’t communicate, and suffered from emotional abuse. FKA Twigs has been known to push boundaries with her music, often exploring deeper issues associated with heartbreak and abuse.
Just after FKA Twigs publicly opened up about past abusive relationships, could the couple now be suffering from external pressures, surrounding the release of Soundtrack 7? Perhaps Pattinson is having second thoughts about having his relationship put under scrutiny, and is getting cold feet. However the couple were spotted sharing an intimate moment last week whilst leaving a hotel in West Hollywood, so perhaps we still have time to fill in our wedding RSVPs.
