Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson Twilight spoof on MAD cover

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson's Twilight characters appear on a spoof cover of MAD magazine.

After almost 5 years of starring in the films, we’re sure that Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson must have learned to laugh along with those who poke fun at the Twilight saga – even though Kristen has recently called herself a “miserable” you-know-what. The latest joke comes from MAD magazine who have mocked up an illustrated version of the Breaking Dawn Part 2 poster for the cover.

The cover features both Bella and Edward, with a rather grotesque version of daughter Renesmee – who has protruding ears and fangs – along with a salivating wolf, leering at the girl. The cover line says “Twilight: We Spoof All % Stupid Movies in 1 Stupid Issue”.

Speaking about the issue, editor John Ficarra said: “We tried to get celebrity help with this cover, but of the three, the werewolf was the only one that was approachable. We really wanted to get Robert Pattinson involved, but didn’t have the budget for an eyebrow wrangler. We were all set up to work with Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, but they had to cancel because it conflicted with their weekly Brooding Lesson.”

We hope the cover hasn’t offended the stars or too many Twi-hards!
