Emma Watson, who stars as Hermione Grainger in the blockbusting Harry Potter series, has revealed that it is scary contemplating life without the boy wizard.
After ten years and eight films portraying Harry's best friend, the 21-year-old actress admitted she has been living life "in a bubble" and it is now time to break free and embark on other, more risky projects.
Speaking in the latest issue of Empire magazine - which is a special, commemorative edition containing a free 34-page booklet dedicated to the Harry Potter films - Watson said it will be sad to leave the franchise behind, but she is unlikely to miss some of the filming sequences.
During the filming of the Battle of Hogwarts, the terrific climax to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2, she described how explosions were timed to go off right next to the actors.
'They put plugs in our ears to protect our eardrums, but you can still hear because you're so close to the bangs. There's this one scene where they detonated all of these bombs, like, right next to us. I was absolutely, genuinely terrified," she told Empire magazine.
