If you have a Doctor Who Adventures magazine subscription, we’re sure you would have tuned in to Saturday night’s episode of Doctor Who – The Angels Take Manhattan - which saw Amy Pond and husband Rory killed off.
We won’t ruin too much of the story in case you haven’t seen the episode yet, except to tell you that it’s at the hands of the sinister stone angels – and it’s quite a tear-jerker.
Karen Gillan, who has played Pond since 2009, said about her character’s exit recently, "All I wanted was for her to go out in flames of blazing glory and she definitely does that. I couldn't have wished for a better way to go."
We have to agree and will certainly miss both Gillan and Arthur Darvill who plays husband Rory.
The Doctor’s new assistant Jenna-Louise Coleman will appear in the Christmas episode.
