Movie buffs who have a Total Film magazine subscription can read an interview with Daniel Radcliffe.
The Harry Potter actor, who plays the title role in the highly-successful film franchise, speculated about why all the characters he has played are quite miserable.
He told Total Film magazine: "I do tend to play quite sad characters. I don't know why - I'm quite happy!
"When I was 11, Chris Columbus said he thought I had sad eyes. I think that's largely the reason I play such sad, lonely characters!"
But Radcliffe said he doesn't mind playing less happy characters because he finds them quite interesting.
The eagerly-awaited last instalment in the popular wizarding series Radcliffe stars in - Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 - is due to hit UK cinema screens on July 15th this year.
Radcliffe will soon be appearing as lead role Arthur Kipps in the film adaptation of The Woman in Black, which is based on a novel by Susan Hill.
