Movie buffs with an Empire magazine subscription can read all about the winners at the publication's awards ceremony.
Oscar-winner Colin Firth picked up the best actor gong at the Empire magazine event, just to add to his recent silverware haul for his role in The King's Speech.
Inception, starring Leonardo Di Caprio, Juno's Ellen Page and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, of 500 Days of Summer fame, netted the best film award at the event.
Other winners at the Empire magazine accolades included The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo star Noomi Rapace who won the best actress prize and Keira Knightley who bagged the Hero award.
Harry Potter star Gary Oldman was named a film icon at the awards.
Speaking backstage, the actor said: "I'm not getting any younger but I'm still in the game.
"Jonathan Ross told me this was the 'You're still alive award' but I'm not quite there yet."
