Four-time Grammy Award-winner and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Carole King will be returning to the shores of Blighty to perform at Hyde Park in the summer. The talented singer-songwriter will not only be headlining the British Summer Time Festival at the start of July, but she has announced that she will be performing her breakthrough album 'Tapestry' in full. "I'll be adding other songs because it would be a very short set if I only did Tapestry," the 74-year-old songstress told BBC Radio 6, "I might actually even have it on my social networks where people can offer up their favourites and see if we can get a consensus and help me figure out which songs to add." Tapestry was released in 1971 and topped the charts for 15 weeks - holding the record for most weeks at No. 1 by a female artist for two decades. It includes King's most well-known hit, the beautiful 'You've Got A Friend' which won the 1971 Song of the Year Award. "I can't wait to perform Tapestry from beginning to end for the first time... in the heart of one of my favourite cities," said the star, who will be supported on stage by her daughter Louise and Don Henley, formerly of The Eagles.
