On Good Morning Britain Donald Trump suggested, were he to become President of the United States, that he and David Cameron may not get along. Responding to comments the Prime minister made last year about Mr Trumps plan to ban Muslims entering America, calling the proposal ‘divisive, stupid and wrong,’ Trump told Piers Morgan “It looks like we’re not going to have a good relationship.”
Trump also had plenty to say about new London mayor Sadiq Kahn, calling his remarks ‘nasty’. Kahn, who is the capital’s first Muslim mayor, called Trump’s views on Islam ‘ignorant’ and that they could make both the UK and US ‘less safe’. The Republican candidate responded by saying that Kahn knew nothing about him before challenging the Mayor to an IQ test.
Piers Morgan has proved to be a hit on both sides of the Atlantic and is known for his provocative interview style. He even cheekily asked Trump “are you the Leicester City of the presidential race?” comparing him to the 5000-1 Premier League winners.
Trump responded by joking: “I would hope that their odds were longer than mine!”
