Scarlett Moffatt to Quit Gogglebox?

With million-pound offers already pouring in for the ‘Queen of the Jungle’, a return to the show that made her looks more and more unlikely...

Reality television appeared to come full circle on Monday 4th of December, as Scarlett Moffatt, self-confessed ‘biggest fan’ of ITV’s I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, beating comedian Joel Dommett to be crowned queen of the jungle. Having watched the show since she was 10, Scarlett revealed in her post-show interview that she knew so much about the jungle series that her fellow campmates would come to her for advice on upcoming Bush Tucker Trials.

Having found fame on Channel 4’s Gogglebox as part of the ‘Moffatt Family’ with parents Betty and Mark, it’s unclear if she or any of her family will return with The Sun reporting Scarlett will quit the show to focus on her burgeoning fame. ‘If we don’t go back, we don’t. That’s up to Channel 4. It’s opened a lot of doors for Scarlett and has enabled her to achieve some of her dreams. There’s no negative,’ mum Betty said.

‘The thing I’ve enjoyed most is getting to spend time with her every week. She’s not a celebrity — she’s just our Scarlett,’ she added.

The 26-year-old was still relatively unknown on entering the jungle - especially in comparison to TV titans Carol Vorderman and Larry Lamb – but is set to make a fortune as ITV and Channel 4 are already rumoured to be battling it out for the star with six-figure contracts. This December will also see the release of her fitness DVD titled: Scarlett’s Superslim Me Plan, following her stunning transformation from size 16 a svelte ten.
