Daniel Radcliffe fans need not worry about the end of the Harry Potter franchise putting paid to the young Brit's acting career.
According to Heat magazine, the star has been chosen to appear in the movie adaptation of The Woman In Black.
It noted how its staff remember going to see the theatre version as part of A level English, describing it as "bloody terrifying" and noting that they cannot wait to see the film.
"Jane Goldman's script is beautifully written - both tender and terrifying in equal measure," Radcliffe, who plays Harry in the Harry Potter franchise, explained.
"I am incredibly excited to be part of The Woman In Black."
The first part of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is due out later this year, with the second set to hit cinema screens some time in 2011.
The Harry Potter films are based on the novels by JK Rowling.
