Katie Waissel has a new man

The smitten star was spotted out and about in London with Leon Callanan after they reportedly met through mutual pals.

"We've been friends for years. He's like a young Jimi Hendrix. He's so rock and roll,' she told Heat magazine.

"It's early days, but I like him. He's so handsome and has such a big heart."

A friend of Katie's told Heat magazine that nothing went on between fellow X Factor wannabe Matt Cardle in the house, despite reports to the contrary.

"Matt's a nice guy," the source told Heat magazine.

"But he's not her type at all. She doesn't find him attractive."

Katie landed herself in the bottom two for the fourth time last weekend on The X Factor.

She stayed in after Cheryl Cole controversially chose not to vote for either Katie or Treyc Cohen - both her acts - which led to a majority ruling that sent Treyc home.
