James Corden has pulled a massive prank on Jennifer Lopez, when she joined him for a round of Carpool Karaoke on The Late Late Show.
‘He thinks it’s from me!!’ shrieked superstar J-Lo once she realised that James Corden’s rather flirty text to Leonardo Dicaprio from HER phone, had already been sent.
The singer/actress, who currently has a residency in Las Vegas, was taking part in Carpool Karaoke and the Late Late show host had taken her phone to browse through her celeb contacts, which included Demi Lovato, Chris Brown and Bradley Cooper. “This is the best phone I have ever seen in my life! Let me look at this. C'mon. This is insane!” exclaimed Corden before texting The Revenant star:
“Hey baby, I’m kind of feeling like I need to cut loose. Any suggestions? Let me know, J.Lo (you know from The Block).”
To everyone’s surprise Dicaprio responded within minutes with a text that read: “You mean tonight, boo boo? Club wise?”
Luckily, Jenny (from the Block) has a sense of humour, and laughed it off: “Here's the funny part, he thinks this is from me!”
The Carpool Karaoke segment of The Late Late Show, which has previously featured Justin Bieber, Mariah Carey and Adele, have become massively successful, sending James Corden’s hosting career into the stratosphere. There are rumours that Carpool Karaoke might even been made into a standalone series, although with Corden behind the wheel, who knows what will happen...
