When it comes to ageing we all know that Helen Mirren simply ‘doesn’t give a damn,’ and to prove it she turned up at the Cannes premiere of French language film Unknown Girl looking drop dead gorgeous. With her trademark platinum crop slicked back, smoky eyes and a flowing, lace dress she twirled, posed and blew kisses at adoring fans and press.
It’s not the first time this week that Dame Mirren has floored us with her fashion prowess. On Sunday she spoke at The Queen’s 90th birthday celebrations on the grounds of Windsor Castle and looked radiant in a gorgeous teal gown that was covered in sequins. Mirren famously won an Oscar for her portrayal of Her Majesty and spoke of the Queen’s incredible dedication in her role as monarch.
