Cheryl wore a loose and minimalist grey silk dress by the designer Rick Owens to the wedding. Many ‘trolls’ thought that the dress was unflattering and swamped Cheryl’s small frame. The low key look was very different to the glamorous glitzy dresses we usually see Cheryl wear, but perhaps she was just being modest in order to avoid stealing attention away from Ruth’s special day.
Ruth turned to twitter herself to blast critics of Cheryl’s dress, lovingly describing her as ‘the most beautiful woman in the world… she can wear anything and still look stunning like she did at my wedding’. She also defended her own dress whilst despairing, "What a sad world we live in where people tear strips off each other for no reason."
Cheryl has obviously been affectionately welcomed into Liam’s family, and they have been making plans for a family of their own. The couple, who have been seeing each other for eight months are besotted with each other, and have been trying for a baby. Cheryl seems much happier with Liam after her messy divorce from Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini, and hopefully we’ll be hearing some baby news from the pair soon.
