The Mud & Bloom boxes have been created for 3-8 year olds.

The activities have been created by qualified teachers, and they support the national curriculum with influence from Forest School, Steiner and Montessori education.

All seeds are certified organic and biodynamic. We also provide organic peat free compost pellets in each box, to enable our subscribers to get planting immediately. 

The boxes have been developed with the busy parent in mind, so each box includes most things you need to get started. Most of the craft activities are designed to get children finding and using objects from nature - all can easily be found on a short walk to your garden or local park. You may occasionally need things from your recycling box, such as old jam jars. For the growing activities, you'll also need something to start your seedlings off in such as an old egg carton, small yogurt pots or small plant pots.

Each box includes everything needed for at least two seasonal activities: one gardening and one nature craft – along with instructions, quizzes and games aimed at teaching children about the seasons, plants, insects and birds.

Educational – The activities will help your children engage and connect with nature - helping them learn about and interact with plants, insects and the seasons.

Fun – They will have fun growing their own fruit, vegetables and plants and creating their own crafts inspired by nature and the seasons.

Easy – The boxes will be delivered to your door with all the seeds and materials needed for the gardening activity - there's no need for you to have a garden or tools.
